Wow!!

What a great two weeks we have had.  We are still not fully into our schedule, but we are getting closer everyday.  We have completed our Discovery tests, which tell me where the students line up with our standards for the year.  We are nearing the completion of our STAR testing, which gives me a little insight into each student's reading level.  I have really enjoyed these awesome 2nd graders and look forward to watching them grow as the year continues.

I sent home several papers in Friday folders this week.  Please look for them.  I really would love to have an email address for all of you, if you have one available.  It is a quick and easy way for us to communicate throughout the day.

Welcome!

Thank you to everyone who came to Open House last night!  I enjoyed meeting both students and parents.  I am looking forward to a wonderful year.  This is going to be a great year with a lot of learning and a little bit of fun thrown in there too!
